Womens Ministry

Glennette Goodbread, Christian Speaker for Womens Events

Hi, I’m Glennette Goodbread and I’d like to speak to you for a minute about one focus of our ministry and that is Women. We are all living in this “hurry up and get everything done” world and we really need to just stop and smell the roses and listen to God.

God has called me to speak specifically to women and tell my story. The primary issues I have dealt with are domestic violence during my childhood, verbal abuse, divorce, chronic disease (diabetes) of a loved one and the death of my father.

I am passionate about the love of God and I make every effort to convey to each woman in the audience that God loves her and cares about what she is going through. I strongly encourage women to overcome unresolved pain from the past. I am adamant that our trials and tribulations have a divine purpose. God is not sitting on His throne making things happen to us. He is there for us when we go through things and yes, He does allow things to happen to us that we don’t understand. If we are spirit-filled, we have within us the power to overcome anything that comes our way. God really does love us and He gives us everything we need to be more than conquerors.

If you have a specific theme for your meeting/retreat, please let us know and that can be incorporated.

Testimonial:

Glennette Goodbread was the speaker for the Ladies Ministry at Colony City Community Church in Fitzgerald, Georgia on Saturday, November 6, 2010. She is a woman of God with a special anointing for music, praise and worship. The title of her message was “Trials and Tribulations”. When trials come our way, they bring us to our knees. Glennette shared with the ladies the work God is doing in her life through her daughter’s health issues. Glennette is a woman of God filled with wisdom and filled with the love of God, and willing to meet the needs of hurting people. Glennette mentioned several scriptures and I want to point out these two verses.

“The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.”
Psalm 9:9

“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”
Romans 5:3-4
